Okay, I’ve gotta admit… I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the shows I’ve seen in Charlotte lately.
Ryan’s performance in “Debbie Does Dallas: the Musical” was, of course, outstanding… But then, Ryan’s hilarious in everything he does. If he’s in a show, you’re guaranteed to laugh yourself breathless. The run ends this coming weekend — shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Another local production: The Little Dog Laughed. This was OUTSTANDING! It was funny, it was dramatic, it was… great. Just great. I’m definitely going to go back and see it again, so anyone in Charlotte that’s interested, lemme know. The run goes through Saturday, April 26th. This week, I’m seeing “Late Night Catechism” with my friend Dan for his birthday, and next week “Wicked” with Brandon for his. And yes, I’ll probably work in another stop at both “Debbie Does Dallas” and “The Little Dog Laughed” before their runs are up. I like to chuckle, what can I say?
And no, I’m not going back because of the male nudity (you know who are you!!)
