One of the biggest disappointments about my annual 4th of July trek to Florida was how few of my peeps I got to see, since we did Miami Beach instead of Cocoa Beach. It’s the first Independence Day in recent memory that I haven’t seen Thijson, Christina, Anthony, etc.
I’m about to make up for that, to a degree.
Thijson is coming up to Charlotte for an entire freakin’ week. He gets here Thursday July 30th and stays through Thursday August 6th.
This is going to be AWESOME — it’s been more than eight months he visited me for my birthday, and four months since I visited him for his birthday.
Now if we could just get the Friels and the Listons to come back, Damon to visit for the first time in close to two years, Jenn to bring Mike up, and Anthony to finally see more of Charlotte than the airport (Erin finally made it, Anthony – you’re slackin’!) then the Florida visit cycle will be complete.
In the mean time, a week with Thijson here is a damned fine place to start.

Because Jenn on her own won’t get through the threshold? Hmph! I’m not even sure I’d WANT to visit now! I’ll just send Mike on ahead.

A vacation would be lovely! But do you think you could handle a crying baby or waking up every 3 hours in the night??? Although, if the Liston’s came up with us it would be a learning experience for them. HA HA HA.
It might be awhile before we’re able to vacation. I do miss you. (all of us)
