Stephen Seay Productions staged three performances of Talk of the Town last week, starring Salvador Garcia. Because the show is being adjudicated by the Metrolina Theatre Association in the Special Events category, I won’t be posting my usual review of the production.
I do, however, want to say this:
THANK YOU to the many friends, including some colleagues from work, who took the time to come out to Petra’s Piano Bar for the show. Since this was a very personal show for Sal, I’m sure that having a full audience was very rewarding for him. And of course, for me.
Thanks also to the fine people at Time Out Youth, who were onsite to share the great work they’re doing to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth in our community. (The play is about growing up gay in small-town Texas, for those that didn’t make it out.)
That’s really all I can say about it. If you, however, saw the show and want to add your own $0.02 on it, by all means feel free to reply below 😀
