The 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was an absolute classic to any young American at the end of the 20th century… We rooted for Ferris, the lead character who skipped a day of class in his senior year, and we despised the evil Principal Rooney for trying to hunt him down.
Now it seems Principal Rooney is the one in trouble – he has been arrested in Los Angeles on charges related to his sex offender status.
Yes, actor Jeffrey Jones is a registered sex offender, after pleading no contest in 2003 to “a felony charge of employing a 14-year-old boy to pose for sexually explicit photos,” Huffington Post reports. His recent arrest comes from not updating his information with California officials after his recent 63rd birthday.
What’s worse is that this isn’t the first time he’s gotten into trouble for failing to keep his sex offender status current. In 2004, he was arrested for the same thing in Florida.
Oh, Principal Rooney… This is SO much worse than accidentally dropping your wallet when you broke into the Bueller house!
