The next big event in the U.S. National Whitewater Center’s River Jam series has been announced: the Memorial Day Celebration on Sunday, May 29th. There will be live bands, fireworks, great food and drink, and of course a day full of fun outdoors.
Come and join us in celebrating the Memorial Day weekend with a free concert at the USNWC featuring Trampled by Turtles, The Apache Relay and American Aquarium. We’ll finish off the evening with a stunning fireworks display over our river.
We’ll kick off the celebration at 3 p.m. with two opening acts, American Aquarium and The Apache Relay followed by Trampled by Turtles. One of the most exciting indie-bluegrass bands, Trampled by Turtles are known for their high-energy shows, featuring tight harmonies, razor sharp picking and emotional ballads. Hailing from Duluth, Minnesota, we aren’t quite sure how they learned to pick with such style and ease, but we certainly aren’t complaining.
The USNWC is the place to be this Memorial Day Weekend, come to play outside and stay to enjoy the show. The Memorial Day Celebration is part of the Whitewater River Jam series.
