Apartment photos

Continuing my theme of “OH MY GOD I’M REALLY DOING THIS!” excitement, here are some photos of the new apartment in New York City. Like I said it’s brand new, so they’re actually still putting a few finishing touches on the place, but this should definitely give you an idea:

There are other pictures, but frankly they’re of closets. (Hey, closet space is important!) It’s a great apartment, pretty much the same size as my current place minus the second bedroom. It should comfortably fit two adults and two dogs quite cozily.

It’s also REMARKABLY quiet in the apartment, so much so that I didn’t even initially realize that the subway station was right around the corner. I really do think this is going to be a good place to work from home, with enough space to be comfortable and enough sound protection to make for a seamless transition.

I am SO VERY excited about our new home… I can’t wait for you to see the finished product once we’re all moved in this October 🙂

Not that I’ve ever been in an apartment in NYC but from everything I’ve heard and the pix I just saw – you have a gigantic space!!! Congrats – send pix of the finished place after the move in! Alex and I wish you both the best of luck!
